Parents, Leaders and young people are right behind the Kidderminster District Xmas post delivery this year.
Stamps cost only 15p (that’s an 11p discount on Royal Mail) to all addresses in Kiddy, Wolverley and Cookley. Stamps will go on sale from November 25th and they will be available from the Chemist in Spennells shops also at the hairdressers in the same complex and from Heronswood School. Your letters can be posted at these sites as well.
Cards will be delivered during the weekend bvefore Xmas.
Leaders will also have a plentiful supply of stamps. This is a great way to support local Scouts and save money on each Xmas card sent when every penny counts in the credit crunch.
See your leader for more details.

Beavers from KD9 met Kidderminster Mayor Marcus Hart on Thursday 2nd October.
The Mayor who has been involved in Scouting for many years, offered to accommodate the KD9 youngsters in his parlour and to show them around the Town Hall.
Melanie was really pleased that the Beavers had a great night out and Marcus waived the normal mayoral handshake with them. He was quite happy to give some of the Beavers a “high five” as they left in what was a very special evening.
Thanks Marcus from KD9.
Melanie
